Groundbreaking Ceremony for C&Y Die Casting (Nantong) Equipment and Die-Casting Parts Base Project

Yesterday (March 18, 2021), the groundbreaking ceremony for the C&Y Die Casting Equipment and Automation, as well as Automobile and Telecommunication Die-Casting Accessories Intelligent Manufacturing Base project, was held in the Tongzhou Bay Jianghai-Liandong Demonstration Zone, Nantong City, Jiangsu Province. It is reported that the project is invested and constructed by C&Y Die Casting LLC *(Nantong) and METAL HOUSE PROTECTION.S.A.C., with a total investment of approximately RMB 120 million, and implemented by C&Y Tech. Co., Ltd. (Nantong).

The project is located on the north side of Nachtide River, west of Fuhai Road in the Tongzhou Bay Jianghai-Liandong Demonstration Zone, Jiangsu Province, occupying an area of 20 mu (a Chinese unit of area, approximately equal to 0.0667 hectares) with a planned total gross floor area of 135,295,000 square meters. Upon completion, the project will have an annual production capacity of over 80 multi-slide die-casting machines and automation equipment, over 20 million automotive parts, over 100 million 5G products, and over 10 million telecommunication accessories. It is expected to be completed and commence production in December 2021.

Signing Ceremony for Minth Group and Top Group Construction Projects in Ningbo

According to Ningbo Evening News, on March 17, a signing ceremony for major projects in the Ningbo Area of the Zhejiang Free Trade Zone was held in Beilun. A total of 12 projects were signed, including a comprehensive deepening cooperation project by the Minth Group and a series of high-quality development projects by the Top Group.

Both the Minth Group and the Top Group are leaders in the automotive parts industry. As early as February this year, the Minth Group signed four projects with Beilun with a total investment of RMB 4 billion, involving global automotive lightweighting investment and research and development, the Lingfeng Modern Industrial Park Global Innovation and Research and Development Headquarters, and rural cultural tourism integration projects; the signed projects by Top Group are focused on three areas: new energy vehicle thermal management systems, intelligent braking systems (IBS), intelligent steering systems (EPS), and lightweight chassis systems.

Launch Ceremony for Haitian (Shunde) High-End Intelligent Equipment Industrial Base

Yesterday morning (March 18), the launch ceremony for the Haitian High-End Intelligent Equipment Industrial Base and the signing ceremony for the provincial, municipal, and district collaboration to build the Shunde High-End Equipment Industrial Base were held in Longjiang Town. Leaders and guests including Zhang Jingzhang, Chairman of the Haitian Group, and Zhang Jianming, President, attended the event.

It is understood that the Haitian Shunde Base plans an initial total investment of approximately RMB 5 billion, occupying an area of 307,428.25 square meters (approximately 461.14 mu), with a planned total gross floor area exceeding 490,000 square meters. The project will not only focus on the production of high-end intelligent injection molding machines but will also introduce the Haitian Group's second industry, A-share listed company Haitian Precision's CNC lathes and machining center projects (one of the most developmentally promising enterprises in the Chinese lathe industry), as well as the third industry's Haitian Drive intelligent manufacturing, robotics and automation projects, and the Haitian South China Research and Development Base project.

Groundbreaking Ceremony for Hefei Hebi Automotive Motor Parts Project

Recently, the groundbreaking ceremony for Hefei Hebi Automotive Motor Parts' single and component research and development and production base (Phase I) project was held in Caidian Economic Development Zone. The project is invested and constructed by the Taiwan-funded enterprise Hebi Industry, occupying an area of approximately 50 mu with a building area of approximately 35,000 square meters, covering the research and development and production of single and component automotive motor parts. It mainly serves companies such as those in Europe, the United States, Japan, Valeo Siemens, Denso, ASMO, and BorgWarner. The project is expected to be completed and commence production in 2022.

Huayu Pierburg (Guangde)'s Second Cylinder Block Production Line to Begin Trial Production in June

According to People's Network, the domestic first automated engine cylinder block production line, the CSS375 cylinder block project, built by Huayu Pierburg (Guangde) Non-ferrous Parts Co., Ltd., located in Guangde Economic Development Zone, Anhui Province, was completed and commenced operations last year, with a daily production capacity of nearly 400 units. It is reported that the company's second production line, which is currently under intensive construction, will be commissioned and commence trial production in June this year. After both lines are fully operational, they will have an annual production capacity of 320,000 cylinder blocks.

It is reported that Huayu Pierburg Guangde signed an agreement to settle in Guangde in March 2018, mainly producing BMW new energy vehicle motor casings, Porsche and SAIC-GM engine cylinder blocks, cylinder heads, and motor casings.
